The historical-folklore Museum of Corfu opened in August 1982 in the traditional village of Sinarades which is 13 km from the city. Nikolaos Paktitis was the one who visualized and founded the historical-folklore Museum of Corfu. He is a teacher working on the folklore tradition of Corfu for many years.
